Our bed and dialysis scale has been carefully tested in the past by specialists and intensive-care consultants, in dialysis and burn units, and found to be ideal. It is now also being used to an increasing extent in nursing homes. While every ounce is important in the case of immobile patients, precision is what counts. For example, in the case of clinical procedures involving the loss of fluid or special fluid turnover, or simply in areas where patients can only be weighed in bed.

Always in use: the seca 984 facilitates the easy, gentle and precise weighing of bedridden patients and is an indispensable aid in dialysis and intensive-care. With the integrated lifts, four measuring platforms can be placed easily and effortlessly under the castors of the bed. The previously determined weight of the bed is deducted using the pre-TARE function and the patient’s precise weight is determined. In the event of a power failure, the scale stores all previously displayed values using rechargeable batteries. When not in use, the four bed lifts can be stored on the equipment trolley. The seca 984 is well-suited for hospitals and clinics, particularly geriatrics, intensive care, nursing homes and retirement homes.

Easy installation of the load cells with little effort due to the patented lifting technology - the pivoting position of the castors of the bed is irrelevant.

Options Available
	No trolley -- To save space, seca also supplies a version without equipment trolley. Here, we have integrated the electronics necessary to capture the weighing results obtained with the measuring platforms in a floor unit which simply disappears under the bed. It is moisture- and detergent-proof. The display unit can be attached to the wall with the standard seca fixing device and removed in no time at all. Alternatively, the display can also be mounted on the optional mobile stand seca 472.
	Seca 434 -- This optional multifunction display completes the bed and dialysis scales seca 984. A decisive factor for this second additional control and display unit is the pause function. Once activated, for example, an additional cover may be laid on the bed or removed without influencing the weighing process.
